I T Distribution UK Ltd was established in 2009 and our customer base has grown year on year, but we strive to keep the personal touch. We have one warehouse based on the Norfolk Suffolk border and employ 22 drivers and admin staff and 3 satellite drivers based in the Midlands to cover the west of the country.

 

We have built strong business relationships with all our customers whether large or small and are always willing to go the extra mile to please our customer’s. We are very flexible working 6 days a week covering the whole of England Scotland and Wales on a maximum of 10 workings days turnaround for the furthest locations from our depot. All staff are supplied with the latest technology enabling real time data processes and instant notifications back at base when deliveries have been completed and signatures being available via our dispatch software instantly. Planning is done by state of the art software providing customers with the most accurate timeslot possible.

 

All staff have to wear company uniforms and we invest in the latest vehicles to ensure reliability. Between all of our staff we have many years of experience delivering different types of household goods to customers and all understand the importance of being the (face) for all our different clients.

 

Services:

 

We offer a number of different delivery services for our trade customers in this ever changing market in which we work, our customers expect the highest possible standards for their own customers. Over the years our standard delivery service has evolved to become more customer friendly.

 

We have also had to create through necessity new, more customer friendly delivery services. AM, PM, evening deliveries and also Saturday deliveries, we are currently assessing demand for Sunday deliveries within our customer base. Also we provide text messages, telephone calls and emails to our next day delivery customers the day before with 1 hour and 4 hour time slots, this varies depending on our customers company requirements.

 

90% of the work we undertake is for trade customers but we also provide services for the general public, we can quote to collect and deliver one off items from all around the country at very reasonable prices due to our country coverage. Just contact us and we will be happy to discuss your requirements, it will certainly be more competitive than collecting the item yourself.

 

Next Day Delivery:

 

We provide a next day delivery for all of our customers and this service is what we specialise in with up to 80% of our deliveries being next day delivery, currently our customers can take orders in the afternoon right up until 3.45 pm and know that we will fulfil the delivery next day. Our prices are very reasonable and start at £19.95 all the way up to £500 + for a complete vehicle for a 2 man delivery with assembly that takes up the whole day.

 

Goods are transported overnight between our two depots, the sorting of goods, picking of orders and loading of vehicles can done during the day and night meaning all vehicles are loaded and ready to go by 5.00 am. We can collect from your suppliers one day and offer next day delivery service in most cases unless delivery is required in a non next day delivery area ( 48 Hour area).

 

Timed Delivery:

 

We also offer a timed delivery services that consists of AM or PM time slots. AM deliveries are guaranteed to be delivered between 7 am and 1 pm, the PM deliveries are guaranteed to be delivered after 12 noon. These services are very popular, we provide 1 hour and 4 hour window delivery services, this means the customer gets a call, text or email the evening before with a 1 hour or 4 hour time slot which enables the customer to plan there days accordingly.

 

The driver’s are very proactive and also call beforehand to give a more accurate time window which helps customers with busy schedules and allows for customer to pop home just in time to accept the delivery. Whatever the service is that you want for your customers then it can be provided and a service level designed specifically for your business needs.

 

Our new delivery system will automate this whole process and enable up to the minute tracking that can be available for you and/or your customers to access. This way customers not being informed about there delivery time slot is definitely a thing of the past, they will receive numerous delivery times and updates regarding the status of their order via our dispatching software and the corresponding tracking links that the customers are sent.

 

White Glove Delivery:

 

We have a 2 man white glove delivery service where all goods are taken to room of choice for furniture and sofa bed deliveries nationwide and have had great feedback, we currently install Sofa beds, wardrobes, beds, dressing tables, dining, coffee and lamp tables.

 

We can quote on installing any item’s and the hourly rates charged for assemblies is very reasonable, we provide unpacking and recycling of packaging at an additional charge.

 

We also deliver for one of the largest online flooring retailers and provide a white glove service as standard, we deliver all the goods into the customers property with our very personal service.

 

Warehousing Service:

 

We have enough storage space to be able to store customers products whether it is container loads for longer term storage or just a few pallets we can accommodate you at reasonable rates. We are also collecting goods all the time from suppliers to be stored to fulfil orders that may require collections from multiple different suppliers. We can either charge a weekly/monthly figure or build it into the delivery charge, whichever way the price is competitive. Currently we have two depots one of which is in the Midlands and the other is on the Norfolk/Suffolk border with access to London in just over 60 minutes, at present we are stocking products for a couple of our customers and are looking to expand this side of our business.

 

Currently we have a small customer base for our 3rd Party Logistics service, from unloading the product off the delivery lorry to delivery at the end users property. We undertake the whole process with just one weekly/monthly invoice which includes contacting the end user and scheduling the deliveries, to uploading manifests onto our system and generating emails and texts from our delivery system to let them know what’s happening with their goods all the way through the process. This coupled with our own nationwide delivery service or just picked and dispatched with the most appropriate courier we can service all your needs in full and take the headache away from dealing with multiple companies, none of which will hold their hands up to any missing or damaged items that may occur. That’s what makes us unique compared to simple warehousing businesses
